does anyone have a haynes manual as i have not and need to know what the torque is on the head bolts (lbs or newton meters) and what the sequence is for doin them bk up? if any1 could hep wiv this info would be great as tryin to get my car bk on the road for the weekend.;) thanks

Just did a search to find out what i need to torque my wheel nuts up to on my Leon Cupra. I was suprised to see it appears to be 120Nm. Is that correct? It's just that my last car required 90Nm so i wasn't really expecting much of a difference! Does anyone know why the torque requirements vary...

In another thread I have asked some question re tuning the new 170 bhp engine for hill climbing. With the DSG it would be brilliant as I could left foot brake - but I have a nasty feeling that it may have a fairly low torque rating - any information would be much appreciated.

I have just been told that the right torque for the tightening of the front strut brace is 20 ...but not sure if its 20 Nm or20 lb :doh: Can anyone confirmed that ;) there should be a little leaflet with the strut brace which I cant find :cry:

Hi Guys I recently got Vag-Com and a serial USB lead and I'm wondering is measuring block 20 an accurate way of determining torque or am I better using block 120 and using one either the dynoplot6 or block 120 tutorial spreadsheets?:shrug: Cheers Andy

Went to Interpro today to set my Audi up properly after having my propane and NOS fitted and this is what i came away with. :D Not bad for a PD140 daily run about. More to come when the bigger injectors and turbo get fitted.

Can someone please tell me what the torque setting is for the front Anti-roll bar links as I am fitting new ones tomorrow. I know that according to my Ibiza Mk2 Haynes manual it is 25Nm/18lbf ft, is this the same for the Mk3. The car in question is a 2000 model Ibiza Cupra Turbo. Thanks

i vagcom'd my leon for the first time last night. results produced about 180 ft/lbs and 181 bhp. Bhp sounds right, but how about the torque? what is the stock figure for a 2001 Leon Cupra? ~Mark
