Yeh I have cruise too so my control module is good to go with full dis and a mf sw.

I also have the right control module for auto lights, wipers and dimming mirror

Dad tried fitting the DIS to his but when he found the price of the correct module at ~£300 inc VAT from Audi he gave up on the idea!

Yeh if I needed a new module, I wldnt be interested. I just don't understand why someone would spec partial dis in the first instance.

Ok boring update ( I want to bring this thread to the top so its easier to find )

Since buying the Audi, I've done approx 50 miles in the Ibiza so I had to make a decision where I wanted to go with it.

I've now got a nice big garage to keep it in, and have decided to turn it into a dedicated track car. Aiming to have it ready for the night meet at Knockhill on the 26th May.

Hopefully should have some photos to follow shortly.


On the Audi front I;ve had soem nice reliable motoring
One failed coilpack, and one failed waterpump so far.

On the plus side it now has 4 new revised coilpacks, new water pump, timing belt, all tensioners, aux belt and tensioners and fresh coolant, oil and filter.
I've also fixed my headlight washers, rear washer and added LED bulbs. And fitted a new DV and TIP in preparation for stage 1 map on the 14th

Thanks, the armrest is an Armster one from eBay. AFAIK, Seat never done one for the MK4.

Yeh that was me. Split the front brake hose. Had a lovely time finding that out about 6 laps in, heading into the hair pin

The drive home with three calipers was fun too

Not a clue. Literally only had 6 laps before the hose went. First thing in the morning, and first time running in reverse. It was hard to get an idea of speed as there weren;t really any other cars to gauge against.

Easily left a MG powered caterham, and an E36 M3, only to be passed by a 205 as if I was stopped. I don;t think I can get a hose in time for tonight, but I'll be at the next one after that

Thats because they were rubbish. I've got a fisher price camera I can loan you for next time.
