will it make any difference at all better furl comsumption ?

also how the air box pipe comes out has anyone modded a pipe from the front grille direct to the opening to the pipe?

I found a I use a *fraction* more fuel compared to the standard filter, if you click the Fuelly.com banner in my sig then you can see from the bar graph the fuel consumption change from when I put it in in August.
I found the car drives a lot smoother, there is no power difference that I can feel.
I thought about doing the behind the grill air feed thing, but again didn't think it would make any difference, if anything if the engine was getting "colder" air I thought it would only use more fuel...

fraction more ? madness though it would bring it down abit after all the cooler the engine the less fuel will be burnt !

no colder the air the more dense it becomes which means theres more air, which means more fuel needs to be added to get the fuel mixture to stochametric (14.7-1 ratio) for correct buring, then hense more power but you'll not feel the defference

ok so its probelly not worth spending 40£ on a filter is there anything else i can do to help to get better mpg im already driving easy ! 4th gear at 30!

I tried iridium plugs in my 1.2 and a green panel filter, I also changed the fuel filter when I did a service and put some injector cleaner in the fuel tank, the total bill was expensive and the results hardly noticeable. I think the 1.2 is pretty good on fuel anyway:)
