is it not just a case of enlarging the hole that is currently made for the sub and lowing it to make it flush? then just the same with the amp and fibreglass etc the top?the bloke i bought my car off had a fli sub/amp in the boot.
i have grown tired of having to remove it all the time whenever i want to carry anything large so am about 90% done in taking it apart and building it into my wheel well

I wouldn't bother, they're crap. As is a lot of the one box stuff. Best bet is to find a decent (Alpine or JBL) and get a seperate amplifier for it. You want to budget ~£35 for a decent wiring kit too. What's you budget and I'll happily have a look! Talkaudio.net is full of good advice.
Also, you can get a lot more for your money second hand.
