1000 mile drive...

Hey Guys, just thought i'd let you know the trip went perfectly! not a single problem which is great and makes me feel really satisfied about buying the LCR!

Ended up driving 1600 miles, went down to the nurembergring and just got shy of 150mph (238 kmph on climate) on an unrestricted autobahn

But overall really surprised at how well the LCR performed, had 3 of us in the car plus luggage and mid-rev was pulling away from everything i went up against. oh and what was most surprising was that i went through exactly 5 tanks of fuel - 320 miles to a tank! and i was booting it everywhere!

great experience though... some incredible roads in germany on the way to the ring.

will post some pics when i finish work. thanks again for everyones help.

Sounds like you had a blast. Always good to hear these LCR's can push 150. I only hope I get the chance to have a go over in Germany some time.

Glad you had a good trip. Did you notice the high standard of driving on the bahn's ?

Cheers, yea definatly... theres a real sense of respect for other vehicles out there, ALL cars happily move over even when your gunning up the road a mile behind them.
and no-ones worried about going fast! at one point i was going along at 100 and had a micra with a little old lady in fly past me!

only shame was that i didnt see many REALLY nice cars. there was a matt white audi TT which must have been pushing 350 bhp. god did it move!
