130TDi Milltek Turbo Back De-cat

[MR OBD]

Just been down to Milltek today and had a shiny new exhaust put on.

All I can say is it sounds great and it feels like there is more power too

It is a turbo back full system de-cat (thats right de-cat)

The downpipe and decat will be on sale soon and I will be sorting a group buy with milltek on the downpipe and decat. (and full system if needed)

After a well tuned drive back to sheffield I went into work and dropped of my old exhaust. While I was there 3 Technicians (2 Seat 1 Suzuki) told me to get it on the ramp. They had a good old look round and they were very impressed with the build quality and fitment of the exhaust one said "this is one of the best, if not the best aftermarket exhausts I have seen". (Well done Milltek)

I like it with no cat
But couldn't you get without a mid silencer also?

On my previous ibiza (tdi110) I had only the back silencer.

Looks similar to the standard tailpipe to the vRS, which is what I'm looking for. Would probably fit the Fabia as well.
Current Milltek Fabia vRS tailpipe is twin round pipes.

Yep i think you can have it without the centre box but to be honest its sounds perfect as it is

but its all up to you

Looks good mate, when i had mine fitted they asked if i wanted that tailpipe, but decided against it for two reasons. 1. bunnin had it on his car and didnt want to copy and 2. wanted to keep it looking standard.
Glad your happy with the result mate, it will pull quicker now, well it felt like it did on mine.
Did you go to the tesco's for some brekie?
Will be interesting to se the comparison in noise between mine and your when i next up that way.

Is there a lot of smoke as it's a decat?

My system is getting fitted soon(race cat) so I need to know details to get the order changed

BASSTARD says full decat n no boxes is the way to go , i have the 100 cell race cat , n yes its smoky now its remapped , but without that it was clean as a whistle , judging by mikes pics , theres a bit of soot there , dunno if he's remapped or not tho

Mine smokes when I boot it now(mapped) but don't want it to be worse than it is

I got a good price on the turbo back system but if this decat is going to be better....

Smoke seems to be about the same to be honest but mine has always smoked lots As for price lookin around £110+VAT but if we get the group buy goin on it will be around 20% less

just a bit of soot but as i have said mine throws out loads of smoke anyway! And no its not remapped just yet

new mot test in march can fail remapped dervs matey, yours has years to go yet, but deffo think about a sps1 for then.

sps is no use to me , not revo , i use vagcom to deactive my map , but yeah i had read that , think MOT is due next year , failing that scotland for it

forgot!, they are also introducing a new test to check cat efficiency using current equipment!
