Hi there guys,

I have just purchased some 17" seat cupra R style wheels, just realised that they have been advertised as et41 off set? am I right in thinking that the off set on leons are et35?

Im hoping this does not cause any probs and the chap selling them has just made a mistake, just wanted to get clarification before ringing him, cheers

Does sound a bit like a Beezer offset.
Are they genuine SEAT alloys?
What size tyres do they come with?
Any pictures of the wheels?

Get some info off the guy and we'll soon get to the bottom of this!

andy,

just got standard cupra brake set up, hows things with you matey? last time I spoke to you were you changing cars or something?

just spoke to the chap who assures me they will fit no probs, I like the wheels lots and I am selling my multi spokes to get some money back.

I did want the cupra R 18" ones but a sale fell through, too far away etc.

I will be quite happy with these as they have brand new bridgestones on them, they have been refurbed and look like new, cost me a fair bit but I think they are worth it.

Better to pay good money for quality OE wheels than pay a bit less for aftermarket wheels of unknown quality.

Last time we spoke I was selling my Golf and bought the Fabia, I saw you when I was getting my Konis removed.
Mind you I'm always changing my car! Been looking again recently!!!

i think the ibiza is a different off set, so it could be they are ibiza cupra wheels?

These look flat faced like Leon wheels.

Been looking at various VAG TDIs, but been offered a mint Golf VR6 for a good price.
Just need to scrape some pennies together!

Yep, the Fabia has a few tweaks!

The 17's may be different to the 18's but my LCR 18's don't "dip" in between the spokes at the centre of the wheel like those.
