400BHP, but surely a limited torque curve to protect the DSG?

I've decided my next car's an Audi A4 3.0 V6 TDI Quattro! Problem is finding one with a manual gearbox...

Eitherway, they make 230BHP & 360lb/ft as standard, and in standard A5 form hit 60mph in under 6 seconds. Let's be hoping they're not limited by the DPF as well...

The last time i saw JD he was planning to upgrade the Golf V GTI even more.
Something at 450-480bhp

I thing i have a good engine in my Leon FR TDI, because after 2000km i reach a topspeed of 225km/h on tacho and 218km/h on the GPS while its still standaard and factory topspeed should be 214km/h. The car is lowered by 25mm, has 18" RS4 alloys, aero sideskirts and running on Total Excillium diesel, so maybe thats the reason for the extra topspeed.

Next wednesday i will go for a custom re-map with JD and a dyno run, because the Milltek exhaust (without the DRF) will be ready within appr. 4-5 weeks. When the exhaust arrive i will go for another re-map incl. new dyno run .., keep you informed of the bhp progress.

There are uprated discs available but they are very costly. You can be sure that there is a large tolerance on the gearbox otherwise everybody who tunes there car would have blown it apart.

JD is in the east of holland far away from amsterdam :)

Sorry just to say what the power controller does roughly -

Unlike traction control which cuts engine power, the power controller restricts the amount of torque delivered to a certain limit per gear, and it has different settings for dry/wet/etc (5 I think but I read it a while back today).

So you get ability to drop your foot to the floor in every gear and get little to no wheelspin (max traction). Annoyingly I don't think one exists for dervs at this stage, which is a proper shame as that's the one thing that would seriously allow me to accelerate on the limit without having to turn off the ESP.
