Hi Guys

I've got a 2007 Ibiza Cupra 1.9 Tdi 160BHP.

Just wanted to get your views on a valuation on the car. Me personally I think it's worth £6k. There's not a lot of these on Auto Trader, eBay or Pistonheads.

I've not messed about with the car only added an Alpine Bluetooth Head unit. It's pretty clean the alloys have a bit of wear and tear on them.

Hi mate, I bought mine in April with nearly 59,000 on the clock and paid £5,990.

Tax till end of November, 12 months MOT and had been serviced 2,000 miles prior to my purchase. Cambelt/water pump is recommended around 60,000 miles though so bare that in mind if it's not already done.

Mine was a very clean car with barely any flaws and literally just missed out on the '57' - registered 31/05/2013

Hope that helps, Dan

Thanks Dan that does help. I've not had the cambelt changed so I'll have to factor that into the price. Just done a Glass valuation private sale price it said £5700 which sounds fair I guess.

Great car sad to see it go it's a trooper great performance while being economical.

Well I had a full check-over done as well as cam belt and water pump and it cost me £250 - although my mechanic is a family friend and all of our cars go to him.
In terms of mileage, I wouldn't consider an extra 6000 miles between mine and yours being a factor when it comes to sale price, when you look at the miles that a well maintained one is capable of covering. Theoretically speaking, they're only just ran in at 60,000!

You could get 6k no problem, I paid £5,800 for my 56 reg with 75k on the clock in March.

thats got me wondering what mine is worth as mine is a 57 reg with 29k on the clock and i bought it for just over 6k with 27k on the clock early on in the year.

i personally think the ops cupra wont go for more than £5500 but would happily be proven wrong and for the ops sake i hope it goes for more let us know how much it does go for.

You got a cracking deal there then! The advantage the 06 onwards have of course is the facelift, the pre facelift cupra was too poorly specced IMO, so often the 06 onward ones jump in price just because of that.
