Just what I wanted to hearHopefully you will report back regarding MPG, after you have had it for a week or two. Really most interested in the comparison of the MK2 Leon FR pre-facelift and your new car.
I do about 18 k miles a year and most of that is a commute to work, 50 mile round trip daily so I'll be very interested in the mpg too, lol. The dash is much better too, far better feel to it. Mine just has the standard radio set up but looks very good. The clocks are black and are white backlit, which is a welcome change from the red displays I've had in my previous 7 SEATs. There are lots of features with the bluetooth option, it even tells you what gear you're in and tells you when to change up or down to to make the car most fuel efficient, pretty neat I think!
I like the controls for the heating now too, dials for both left and right heat settings which means you can make the adjustments on a fraction of a second instead of having to beat the living daylights out of the up or down button and then have to repeat it on the other side.

I always liked the climate control buttons, as it looks less cluttered. But you raise a good point that I have not thought about before.
That white car looks great. I really like the new rear end....and by the looks of it the new boot would bolt onto the pre face lift car. It looks the same shape and the light cluster on the rear quarter look the same as the pre face lift.

Does anyone know if the new front grill is the same as the old grill - that black looks uber cool.
it looks like the linear r grille with a black surround instead of the brushed alluminium effect.

Hi guys, got it today, looks good but its filthy already just driving it back from the garage in the rain, about 30 miles. Sent some more photos to Markmeus to upload if he has time.
The tailgate is completely different and the lights are too, smaller. The front grill is a completely different shape and size to the 'old' MK2 (oops can I call it that without offending, lol!)

IT is new bumpers rear and back bigger rear window, dash is different and has the new CR and has the new locking diff thing
