3/4 size front number plate on a Cupra

Anyone fitted one to their Curpa, I have a white Cupra on order and want to try and keep the front on the Cupra as smart as posssible.

IMO the normal size front number plate spoils the aggressive look of the Cupra front end. The 3/4 plate looks almost "WRC esque" if you know what i mean.

Anyone got any pics, as I have just ordered a 3/4 size plate as well and cant wait to see what it looks like.

BTW im not bothered about the legal issues regarding this,Ta.

got a shorter german plate from debmeister to go on mine as my plate is only 5 characters long, looks smart. just got to pick up some sticky pads to attach it

The plate is black acrylic and lettering is silver, looks great when car is clean, that's with a layer of 400 mile filth !

will try get better pics at some point.

I was going to get a shorter front plate when i transfer my personal number on to it but arnold clark have screweed the original plate to the bumper at the edges leaving nice big holes in it. not impressed.

back one looks the same cut down but is in the standard yellow colour looks nice , will try get a pic later mate, cheers

Just need to be careful with cops as we all know they don't like the smaller plates.

Smaller plates are ok aren't they as long as they are correct font and correct space from the edge etc? Im away to get short plates made up aswell.

yeah, they are. unless you have a pre 69 car or some old car like that

looks good on the cupra as the grill is black and car is silver.. the big ugly white plate ruined it... the car was designed to have a big mouth on the front.. the standard plate hides it
