Hi guys,

I know there are lots of threads about enabling wireless CarPlay, but I did not find any which had this main topic. (Found some with extra comment about this, but ignored - probably ‘cause it was “off topic”)

So, I’ve got a 2022 Leon ST Style. It came with the default screen, with some physical buttons on it.
Hardware: 115
Software: 1765

I bought OBD Eleven to enable wireless CarPlay (wired one works fine) but even though I enabled it (and restarted the head unit) I can’t connect to it via CarPlay ‘cause it says I have to enable WLAN (see picture [Hungarian 😅]). Under Multimedia 5F > Adaptation > 5 GHz WLAN I’ve tried to enable it, but it says “Not available”.

Did I miss any step, or this basic display is not capable for 5 GHz?

In case of the second option is true, is there a way to retrofit the capability, or should I get a bigger head unit? (Is it possible to plug and play replace it, or do I need to “pair it” with the car? Can OBD Eleven do it, if needed? (Of course with matching connectors …))

I know that some of ya won’t like the too many questions in one topic, and I’m pretty sure there are some similar ones, but I could not find ‘em.

If you have a link, can be good for me too!
