I am soooo jealous. All I've done is a quick blast in a Chipmunk. A bit of aerobatics, took the controls for a while, but nothing like that.

nice pics mate i once had a similar flite for 20 mins whilst stationed in germany in the 1980s from Raf wildenrath,i was a rapier missile commander and won a inter regt lottery to see what the pilot could, flyin low level, afterburner awsome

Good man.
I had my name on the list for a passenger ride in a Tornado in the Falklands, but never got to go up.
I did manage to go on a flight around the falklands and see some air to air refuelling from on board the aircraft.
Also had plenty of jolly's on Chinooks, Lynx, Merlins etc.
There are some perks to being in the RAF :D

i got a few all inclusive deals in iraq and afghanistan too, bout 5 or 6 now, and counting, all for free.

I got some chocolate coins trying to be passed off as medals too!

Its good for a few things, but not too much!

25 Squadron per chance ? I notice the tail badge.

I had my first ATC Camp at Leeming back in 1993. Only thing I got to fly in there though was the trusty old chipmunk :)

I remember putting the mask over my face and hooking it on. I thought this is a bit loose. So started to adjust the side tensioners. Then I remembered the clamp/release on the front. Whacked it down and found the mask trying to push itself right through my face. My pilot found the whole thing rather amusing.

Looks like you had a good time matey :)
