The paint looks great, have you had it corrected using a porter cable or has it just been hand polished?

nice one fella - excellent job on the paint and a great mirror finish! Ive been toying with the idea of getting a PC or UDM. The results of this show I should get one! :D

To be fair for the cost of the kit, polishes, pads, etc it would be a better idea to get a pro detailer to sort it. Unless of course you plan to do several cars.

Thats true. I think i'd get a pro detailer in if I wanted my car done on a one off. But if I plan to detail the car a few times a year id be better off getting the kit ;)

You should only machine polish every 12-18 months ideally... ;)

If you do it a few times a year as you mention you could compromise the clearcoat ... :p

Then you have the learning curve of knowing how to use the pads / polishes to get the results you want ...

I'm not trying to put you off but I've seen plenty of people buy all the kit then give up and get a pro in after all and sell the stuff on... simply as they couldnt get the results they wanted or realised it was far too much hardwork :)

The leather is my favourite part of the car... despite the car having done 75k miles it still looks like new. I spent several hours cleaning and conditioning the leather after buying it two weeks ago and has made a huge difference :)

I'm glad I held out for leather ... not a fan of the cloth on these cars.
