Sorry to hijack this thread but it seems that the knowledge base here would be best suited to answering my question which is:-

Is it true that VW are dumping the PD injection system next year and joining the Common rail band waggon?

Yes the next generation tdi's from vw/audi will be cr and injection will be controlled by a piezo injection/sensor system (crystals to be more precise )
