I've found an ECU repair shop that will do it for £150, he says he can fix 99% faults that are caused by earthing out. So I'm going to send that off and hopefully he can do it, saves me having to reflash the ECU and get it remapped as well

They have tested AND REPAIRED it for me, so I get to keep the remap etc etc

Just thought I'd let you know. Thoroughly recommend the company for any future ECU problems. Price was £60 test fee and additional £90 for repair.

They called, said it was earth fault, two hours later, said it was fixed and sent back to me special delivery

Mate had an earth fault on his Leon ECU, glad your sorted now

caused after a jetwash , but handy to knwo ecus can be repaired mst the time

what genious decided to put the ecus on the leons under the scuttle panel , why not in the dash somewhere ??

Got the same problem :-( £150 sounds expensive for a standard unit though.
