Trying to think of good colour schemes to go for when i get new alloys as they will be sprayed along with bump strips, rear diffuser etc basically anything black!
Was thinking cream so far, would do white but i think its a bit too OTT, any ideas?
I agree black does look good but i think its time for something fresh, colour coding could work and get the centres of alloys done in red could look real nice. Will do some photoshops when i get them on, the wait is killing me! If im still not happy with the hieght at the front i will be trimming down the helper springs as not too keen on taking them out fully.
Lucky for some! maybe one day haha. Hopefully the 17s will sort out the gap in the arch on the front as it's really bugging me and not too keen on getting rid of helper springs. If it's not money it's time that there isn't enough of to get it how i want
Haha 17's will fill the gap i scrub on the back arches now and it start to pull away on the paint ! not good! ... Sending the wheels for a full refurb soon can't wait !
What ET are your and you have 20mm spacers on the back yeah? The ones im picking up are ET35 so around the same as original Seat alloys so hoping 20mm should be a safe bet if not...ill get them anyway
They are bbs rx's 17x7.5 and et35 mate, got 20 mm spacers too. Going to need arch work soon as I've sorta ruined mine , that or get some camber so the wheels point in more and away from the arches
Shoot, the reps are 8's all round hmm, im sure some simple maths will be able to give me wheels flush to the arch but I'm way too tired, cheers for the info Alex and either arch work or camber will look good, how about both and some bigger spacers
Ok so after arranging a price and collection date with the guy concerning new wheels, a week after this was arranged he has turned around and said someone has offered £200 on top of what was arranged. Seems very dodgy to me so obviously told him to forget it, think he was trying to pull a fast one but you never know...the search continues...
