I've been offered a set of Audi RS4 replicas, I think they are 7.5" x 17" with a 35mm offset and are fitted with 205/40x17 tyres.

Does anyone know if these will fit my MK3 without any arch modifications?

The car is running standard 1.4 suspension.

Thanks in advance,

Simon.

Thats what I was thinking. I'd thought the 3mm difference in offset and the extra 0.5" in width could potentially cause a problem.

I'm not sure if the 1.4 engine will be able to move the car once they were fitted either. Reckon I should pass on them.

Cheers.

17's on a 1.4 will make it dog slow

the offset will move it 'out' but there won't be much room against the tyre to strut.... not good if something jammed

Thanks for the advice, . Hopefully I'll be able to pick up a cheap set of cupra or some 15" alloys instead.
