Aero wipers...wil they won't they ??

Hi folks

Having bought the o/e aero wiper arms for my mk4 golf (front & rear) some time ago..i'am wondering if there ideal for my leon (54 plate) before i try and remove them from the golf.

Yes, but the passenger side needs chopping down so it clears the window trim.

Would that be the blade that needs cutting down ??

Yes just an inch to make it fit or it over hangs the trim.

Running Aero blades on mine ... to get other the overhang I simply purchased a blade the next size down, only makes the 'triangle' where the blades miss at the center slightly larger, not really noticeable. Best blades ive used in a long time though.

Which did you buy as you need the ones with an offset centre pin?
Or are you talking about the generic ones that attach to your standard Leon arms?

TBH its easy to trim the pass one down, I have not yet found an 18" blade that will fit.
Ive spen hours arround the local car supermarkets with a tape mesure!

Don't get the Valeo aeros! Yes, they clear the windscreen very well, but during monsoon, drizzle or blizzard they squeal like David Beckham getting a botty-full in the prison showers.

So much for the AutoExpress 'seal of approval'.
