No, Small is correct. They are switched on in the central position and off in the left or right position. I left mine on for several months before I found this out in the handbook! I normally leave mine set to the right hand mirror position.

Fitted my Alu gear surround and air vents this weekend. The air vents took a lot of patience and time but they are worth the effort and stress.

Fez Boy - FYI it seems as though you have your heated mirrors on all the time judging by the pictures you posted?

Got any pictures you can show us?

On the heated mirror front, can the FR mirrors be heated? I don't want to lose the titanium mirrors, but want to have heated ones!

Not yet. They Alu ones are more like the Chrome ones than i thought they would be, a bit more bling than i expected. I'll try and take some pictures at the weekend.

I keep forgetting to ask about this, mainly because I can't be arsed doing the job, but how do you remove the vent part from the centre vents? I have one of the outer rings off already, but the vent appears to need someone with four hands to hold the clips open and remove it?

I didn't want to pay the astronomic prices of the SEAT Accessories, so I painted everything myself. You feel like a handyman afterwards and can spend the money on something better.

Pics of the whole process here: http://rmk.hamk.fi/~konttmi1/seat/mods/ventrings/ (No clearcoat here, just plastic primer on the bottom. Note that the knobs are painted, too.)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

When I removed my vents I used four bits of thin plastic (like a credit card or pallet strapping tape) and a pair of needle nosed pliers. I used the pliers to hold the EDGES of the spring tabs and moved them towards the centre of the vent, pulling towards me at the same time. As the clip came clear of the dashboard, I inserted a bit of the plastic to stop it springing back again. I then moved on to the next clip and so on until all the clips had a piece of plastic in place. I was then able to pull the vent towards me and out.

Can anyone take a picture of the mirror knob, to show what it looks like if it has heated mirrors?

No,it's supposed to be like that;)
They're only heated when you switch on the rear window heater button.
