Alana Aux adapter install help!!

Hi all,

Recently purchased a wee aux adapter to install into my 2002 mk4, i've managed to get the cd player out etc however i dont have a clue on how to install the cable, could anyone help me out? The cable i've purchased doesent have a ground wire and i know i need to ground a pin or something, could anyone please post a photo or step by step please?

Any help will be much appreciated!

You might want to show what it is you've bought and where you're at currently with it.

Your connector should fit in block C3. In there, you should ground pin 18. If your connector has no cable there, you'll have to crimp/solder some wire in and ground it somewhere decent like a bit of chassis. I used the back of the headunit itself but it was a bit temperamental and eventually stopped working.

If you have the right cable 19 and 20 should be your L and R inputs.
