Alternative for K1 owners

I feel sorry for you non k1 owners.

Even to this day I get admiring looks and comments, from young, middle aged and the old.

On the motorway people look at my car as I or they drive past. Parked it up at a nightclub last night and people driving or walking past would look at it. Sitting in it women will come up to me and start conversation, commenting on the car etc. Driving along with my mates through town centers, women with their BF's will look and smile as they walk along together some turning their necks to breaking point.

The k1 is the pick of the bunch, If I was single, i sure I could have a differnt bird to play with every week ;)

you need to get out more mate lol

They are probably looking at your car and saying "that looks like that Fiat" :p
it was a post of jest , i mean come on why would some one want to style a new car like the K1? or do SEAT have shares in fiat?

it was funny seeing a mini version on the kit i had to look a few times myself.

Haha I know you were joking mate, its just that I have been driving it around for the past 2 days and I thought I would share my observations. Personally though I think the 500 abarth looks the business and SEAT should taken similiar initative with the new LCR

I also dont think it looks anything like a k1 either?

As much as I don't like the K1 kit in all its incarnations I'm glad others do, otherwise this world would be a very boring place. Before this thread disappears, that Abarth looks nothing like a K1.

The Abarth is an awesome car. My wife has one and I (not so) secretly enjoy taking it out for a spin. Still impresses me every time. Love the look on people's faces who underestimate it too :)

im glad this was not a wasted post after all lol
at least we know a bit more about poverty :p , black when hes talking about his **** and cool when hes cruising lol

the K1 is not all that bad , some colours suit it best , thing i dont like about it is the premium it has over Cupras , no mechanical difference at all and its a marmite car at the end of the day , if it was a totally different beast ie 4wd or ko4s turbo for instance then fair play , but look on auto trader and find a cupra and k1 similar age and mileage and there will be a £3k difference im price for £700 kit.

AT kev top reply mate :funk:

The FIAT (with this adolescent bodykit) is for the Owner that leads a boring life, so just wants to be noticed in public - like a bit of fame perhaps! Much like those that drive a (BMW) Mini or SMART Car - its their attempt at trying to make themselves "cool" ..... look at me, I'm cool, as I drive a "cool" car !

......Errrm, I think not. The cars not cool and neither are you.

Also the Fiat and SMART have a small 600cc engine (or something like that)??
Even then, you often see these cars caning it down motorways or A roads, trying to overtake everything else in sight - Why?

Edit: This Thread was already headed for the Scrapyard.
