ap coilovers handling, overall?

APs are made by KW.

AmD have compared the Weitec offering and the AP offering. They think they a virtually the same just the springs are different colour. Weitec are also made by KW.

cheers for the replys people. my old car was a focus rs and yes the lsd was awesome but my car before that was a 182 clio cup and the suspension on there was best handling car i driven.

where did you guys purchase your arbs from?

Of course, with fitting ARBs and bushes to an LCR, there's no question about it. I just was just referring to the handling with fitting coilovers alone and no further mods. I.E. CTR with coilovers (rest of suspension OEM) vs LCR with coilovers (rest of suspension OEM)...CTR would have the upper hand.

your dead right mate ive got a ctr with coilovers running 250 bhp and cupra r with coilovers running 265 bhp and civic beats it in handling but about the same in performance. might be better with arb on cupra r

Just thought I'd ad my 2 pennies...

I've had my APs on for 2 days (lol) and in my opinion, the car is transformed from the standard setup. The ride is a lot smoother over pot holes (use to get nasty crashy sounds with standard setup) and the car really does feel glued to the road. I've got so much more confidence in the bends at low and high speed.

The ride height is superb and after fitting all new mounts and bearings is as quiet as a mouse lol
