Out of the list above, I did all of them apart from buying the brake setup, which I should have purchased within the next couple of weeks :D

I'll get some pictures up this evening when I'm home. Polybushes have made a noticable difference, car feels more responsive with turn-in and braking. Well worth doing.

I've got an ABS sensor on order as the wiring turned out to be ok and the sensor is faulty. Only a few quid so no worries there.

Good good, which bushes did you change?

Have you settled on a brake set up yet?

I've just removed my rear wheel arch and found quite a bit of rust in there, mine is 2003 and 120,000 mile and used throughout the Scottish winter. Worth a poke about when your in there though.

To begin, we just changed the bushes in the wishbones. I'll get round to ordering the front and rear subframe bushes soon :)

Brake Setup is going to be:
330x28 Badger 5 Rotors
Badger 5 Bells
Badger 5 Spacers
Badger 5 Bolt Kit
DS3000 pads
Goodridge Braided Lines (front and rear)
Refurbed Callipers
Motul RBF660 Fluid

Not a cheap upgrade, but definitely worth the money I think.

When the car is next up in the air, I'll be cleaning the underneath properly too.

I'd quite like to replace the undertray and side splash guards too, but it's another £150 I need to spend elsewhere at the mo!

That's the way, no ****ing about!!
What pads and discs you going to fit on the rear?
I've got Badger 5 Elliptically grooved discs and OEM pads.
I'm also refurbing my brakes just now, got a link to seals for the rear calipers in my RR thread if your thinking of doing this?

Lovin the thread mate i just read from the beginning! Took a while but well worth it. Look forward to seeing you at some local meets! :)

Cheers bud, there's a lot of waffle in the pages but the progress is hidden in there :p

I try to attend the local (ish) meets but work likes to get in the way of it.

Alot of waffle there is! lol.

Yeah your only 10 mins away so should see you at some point. Might even gate crash to have a nosey at the car :cartman: Heard some good things

Catch ya around.

Aye, all good stuff though!

You're more than welcome to have a nosey bud. Jay popped down not so long ago for a quick look and a chat :)

Heard good things eh? I wouldn't believe what they told you! :cartman:

I've just bought some Ally Bells from a chap on here :D ... The Brake Upgrade has commenced :D

Cheers bud,

Spare Tow Bolt has arrived, along with the ABS Sensor. Hopefully the Ally Bells and Braided Lines will be arriving today / tomorrow and I'll be visiting Bill @ Badger on my way home tomorrow to collect the remaining pieces of the puzzle :D

I've got Powerbond which is the same thing, and won't disintegrate when it gets wet
I've got a Torque Wrench too, will have to check to see if it goes as low as 12lb/ft (16NM).

Cheers for the Torque figure, was going to Badger Bill tomorrow for information (see what I did there?)

:p

Not in anyway trying to pick holes in your armour, just pointing in the right direction.
Remember the thread locker has to resist the EXTREME temperatures of this set up, Locitite was what I was recommended, Loctite is what I've been using for years and done courses in, hopefully Powerbond will do the same job equally as well

I know you're not mate, I didn't read it like that :)
Any particular type of loctite you'd recommend? I don't know of many who have used powerbond but if you've had experience with loctite I'd be more comfortable using that.

Can't wait to pick it all up tomorrow, it's like Christmas Eve :D

Not bad stuff then! I've got some on order :) cheers Willie :D

I'm worse than a 5 year old at Christmas at the moment, can't wait for the brakes to arrive in stock! I think a battery relocation kit could be in order after I've sorted an oil cooler.

Yup, its the oil industry standard thread sealant.
Stuff that's on the sea bed for 25 years is still sealing, so it canna be bad ;)

I've gone a different route to most with the battery.
I didn't see the point of moving the battery with in my case is about 6Kgs to a place further away and running heavy cabling.
I'm putting mine in the OEM place and tywrapping it down :D

This will give plenty space to run a decent open cone with twin/triple feeds

Ah see, not to shabby then!!

I was relocating the battery to move a little weight to the rear, but a lightweight battery might not be a bad idea instead. The rear is a bit squirmy under extreme braking, wondering if the new stoppers will exaggerate it further.

Mine was like that too but a drop in rear tyre pressure to 30 PSI rear and leaving front at 33 PSI seems to have solved this for now.
Do you have rear spacers?
I don't but others say this helps too, but spacers scare me so not a route I would go down or advocate
