B pillar vinyl removal

Hello, has anyone ever removed the black vinyl on the exterior of the b pillars? What's behind it? Want to remove it but just want to check first!

Yeah that's what I thought, just didn't want to remove it and find an indent,

can anyone confirm? Just (faded!) paint behind?

That's good news! Might just rip it off later and see what's behind!

well ive just removed it and can confirm there is nothing behind it but paint. Its not faded at all and i think it looks alot better without it, makes it look a bit more modern.

I just heated it up with a hair dryer and ripped it off, then used Autoglyms tar remover on the sticky stuff behind.
