can anyone recommend a back box replacement for my ibiza 1.4 2002?

Custom 1 from your local exhaust fabricator. Cheaper and you can get the design you want.

dont try order the peco one like i did. turns out its on the sites but not made anymore
i put a cupra box on mine. sounds ok tbh

Is your back box really u/s or is it just the outer skin that is splitting?

Last bit of the exhaust - ie the tailbox or maybe even used to be called the rear silencer.

it contains baffles which keep the noise pollution down when your driving about

A backbox helps to reduce the noise from the engine, without one you would have a very loud car!
