I've been looking for a good Bammer for months. I started out looking for an 04/05 car, but they were all too much money for what they were, or had huge mileage and weren't value for money either. The quest turned into one to find a later car that was value for money. Again, good ones tend to go for quite a premium over book.

I spotted this one on Autotrader a week ago and having had all the questions answered satisfactorily, I bought it unseen. (Even managed to get it delivered from Birmingham in the price I negotiated, including 6m tax, 12m MOT and a warranty.)

I have to say I'm absolutely delighted with it. Had I inspected it, I'd have gone for it like a shot too. Drives nicely, interior is mint - the only think I can fault there is a minor amount of snagging on the passenger seat bolster cloth.

I found time to give it a thorough wash today. (God there's a lot of car). Sorry, it got too dark for pics by the time I'd finished. It gave me the opportunity to examine the paintwork in detail. Here again I'm well pleased. The day wasn't bright enough to show if there minor swirls, but there are certainly no major problems. The bonnet has a few stonechips that have been touched up, but all is generally good. I look forward to a claybar marathon.
