Re: The Legend's 1.9 TDI Sportrider Coilovers Fitted 29/03/10

yeh chrome ones, I have a majorly long list of things to get and do...

This car has turned into a right money pit considering I wasn't going to do anything to it...

May be ordering a Whiteline rear arb on sat aswell, we'll see...

I wasn't hiding honest!...:D

I remember you, I didn't really speak to many people unfortunately. Will make more of an effort next time.

I liked the look of your results though, impressive, if only I didn't need the economy of a derv :(

More mods to add to the list now as front and rear Forge strut braces were fitted today (pics will be added later) and the whiteline rear arb is on its way :)

Picked up the whiteline today, need to get the car booked in at JKM for fitting as I cant get anything under the car or get it high enough to work on...

May get them to look at some other things whilst its in...

RARB is an awesome mod mate! Really tightens things up at the rear...
Your handling mods are all done now then? Seems that way.

Quite surprised at how much the rear strut brace has stiffened the rear to be honest, but yeh can't wait for the arb to be fitted.

After it is fitted I'll decide whether or not a front arb is needed or not...

Once handlings sorted its exhaust...

Thnaks for the comments guys,

I bought the coilovers from Kate and Co at JKM, worth every penny.

The Ibiza does come with a front arb but on mine its weedy in comparison to others out there like the fabia vrs or S3. I'm in two minds whether to get one as I don't want to stiffen the front end up too much and induce understeer as thats what I've been trying to reduce...

I'll see once the rear arb is on, can always set rear to the stiffest and front to the softest settings...

Quick update, Rear strut brace is in.

Quite surprised at how much difference it has made to be honest.

Results from the last JKM rolling road day...

BHP: 119.1
Torque: 210

So thats approximately 20BHP up on standard and 30ftlb's of torque up on standard, as you can imagine I'm pleased :)

what engine mods have you done mate? Get it mapped! :D

None as yet mate, looking at a full turbo back milltek exhaust, remap and induction upgrades though.

Not sure whether to go aftermarket kit or use a pd160 intake with a panel filter as others have...

pd160 intake is ample..with green panel or equivialnt its a good improvement...

i have full turbo-back milltek exhaust...best sound ever!
