bee sting ariel on ibiza cupra abf

just wondering how you get the ariel off as mine just seems to keep spining and just fall down to the roof, any ideas pls??

as above, once you`ve unscrewed it pull it firmly and it will come!! ahem!!

I never listen to the radio in the car, only mp3's etc so I dont miss it.. and technically yes, it leaves a hole in the roof, but its not difficult to sort and with a vinyl roof too, its easily hidden/covered.

haha i see im the same with radio wise but long journeys abit of traffic news dont go a miss haha and i suppose if you earthed it you could use car as a bg antenna couldnt you and hmmm roof wrap i was thinking of spraying mine black but a wrap could do me better maybe even carbon fiber to match my pillars and boot lol

i managed to get the vinyl for last years roof wrap for a little over a tenner.. this years one cost me under seven quid! (the lad remembered me from last year !

haha but is that done your self or done pro lol i mean i tried self tinting on a old car of mine haha didnt turn out well you ibiza looks well good choice of colours on the pic do you have pressed plate

my 'showplate' is pressed, but my normal ones are just that, normal..

tried pulling it and nothing happens just keeps on turning, my other mate has the same problem on his late spec cupra 20vt.
nah not removing it just putting a later spec vw stubby one on, straight swap and good mod for about a tenner, i think its of a touran or something ive got the part number around somewhere ill post it up!!
