Best oil for ibiza cupra tdi

Hi guys new to the forum and cupra ownership can someone tell me which engine oil is recomended for my car ? (2006 ibiza cupra tdi pd160) Many thanks

as always members will ask you to use the search utility as it's been covered quite a few times...

however, everyone's going for 5w30 where the spec is VW507 i believe...for both petrols and diesels

The oil for the cupra should be long life oil but is still set to the 10k service interval.

Vw 506,01 Long Life 0 30w

Which has been superceeded to 507 and is 5w 30 (as was 506 not 0w 30)

that 0w was a slight typo haha. Didnt relise it had been superseeded cheers for the info. Must be taking some time to get through still as our local halfords had the 506 stuff in
