So I have had the Rainsport 2's on for coming up 500miles now..and they were an instant improvement..
..Toyo who?
They are better by far, driving down the M5 past Exeter a couple of weeks ago, the heavens opened and there was a dangerous amount of water on the road, the rainsports sliced through no worries at all.
In the dry they grip very well. They have made the steering quicker/more responsive and generally feel better than ever before!
I can put much more power down in 1st 2nd and 3rd now, it was getting too easy to make the toyo's spin in 3rd upon moderate acceleration.
The only thing I have noticed is the sidewalls are softer, meaning more pressure is needed to make them look like they are correctly inflated.
If I am feeling rich in a years time, I will quite likely go for these expensive tyres again.
