£600? What size but I'm thinking ouch!

I had to replace two tyres myself due to a blow-out and a finding a nail (on the same day!) and the pair of Conti's cost me £172 all-in.

This maintenance thingy, is this to do with your work or to do with SEAT?
It's the Seat Service & Maintenance plan.
They don't seem to promote it much, but when you buy a new car you have the option of taking out the plan (any time up until first service or 10k miles) which can run for 2 or 3 years, and you can choose to cover servicing only, servicing & maintenance, or servicing, maintenance and tyres. You pay a fixed monthly fee that is worked out from your contract length, annual mileage, and level of contract you want. I've got the full SMT level, which covers everything, from canbelt and clutch, down to wiper blades and bulbs....

I see so by time it comes to servicing you dont pay anything? two conti sports at 205/45/16's cost me £138 and a little on top to fit £10-15.

They are good im certainly impressed with them on such a lardy fat arsed car like the ibiza (comming from a vw polo coupe s you understand) Is it just me or is the ibiza a nightmare to reverse? visability wise

MAtt -> Correct. You just pay a fixed monthly fee and everything just gets done as and when required, paid for by VW FInance.
Never understood why Seat didn't promote it more; my dealer didn't know about it until I told them !
Your dealer does all the work except for tyres & exhausts, which have to be done by National.

They don't promote it anymore because Seat Finance don't pay the dealership as much as it would cost retail. My last service cost my dealership money to do under FCM

Im running Toyo proxies T1-S the ones before the T1-R and got them for £54 each fitted from Demon Tweeks in Wrexham.
They grip just as well as the P-Zeros and are half the price. :D

Im going for the EAGLE F1 GS-D3. Can get them done locally for £214 for the front, which seems reasonable.

Wont be getting them for a few weeks however. I would be interested in how you find them Wizardtm.

How far away from Elite are you? They've got them listed for £88.06 fitted on their site.

205/40ZR17 80W 7 - 8.5 596 1800 £88.06

I think there's some kind of SCN discount on them as well, so might be worth giving them a call?

As soon as mine are fitted I will post my findings of the Goodyear Eagle F1's overhere.

Mine were "just" £186.37 (should be 260euro). BUT I live in Holland, perhaps that makes a diverance ?!

Where is elite? I'd be well up for a short journey if they're that cheap!

I've ended up with Conti Sport Contact 2s from National... thank you VW Finance ;)

Let's see how they compare to vanilla Sport Contacts.
Howdya manage that ?
I just got the basic ones again, even though my paperwork says I got 2's.
Mind you I can't complain, as my burst tyre just happened to be worn enough to need changing ;)
