yeah i agree, well i have just started my road test of the Dunlops, I look for durability and lowish price mostly, and i want a nice GSD3 type pattern aswell lol. I guess ill see how they perform in the next few hopefully thousands of miles!

They should be ok on your car but the car you got wheels from had lots more power and i noticed the difference when i had fr wheels on my 1.2 i thought the brigdestones were great got the new one and its ow my good when accelerating.

Thats what i was gonna say, with the lower powered cars the dunlops should be ok but on my tdi fr, in the wet they where appaling, understeering, wheelspin. In the dry they where ok when not pushed very hard but if i pushed them then they where the same as in the wet. Also the side walls wheren't very good and quite soft imho, because the passanger side front got very scrubbed after only 6k miles and that was nothing to do with my driving:whistle:

A valid point. Mine's also a TDI FR, so the front tyres get a pretty hard life! Loads of torque to cause wheelspin, and a big heavy lump to stretch the cornering ability of the tyres.

Funny you should say that. If anything, I reckon the Toyos feel softer - and much nicer because of it. I've still got the Dunlops on the back, and there's no doubt that the Toyos cushion bumps a little better and make the front of the car feel much more settled, even with the same tyre pressure. I think the Toyos are a much better match with the FR's uncompromising suspension! :)

I have the Toyo T1'S on mine in 215/40/17 format and with my uprated sachs suspension its hard to tell the difference in comfortability. All im saying is when pushed they understeered like fook and i had scrubbed the passanger side tyres pretty bad by flying into roundabouts.
