I have now owned my lcr (BAM engined) for approx a month now. Love it! Well ive now ran into a problem or two! 
i done the n246 valve bypass.. soo easy and changed the car loads! Due to someones handywork before me the motor showed up the weakness it had before. The insulation tape on the vac pipe under the inlet mani gave up and also the tape on the breather valve under the mani, sorted these out handy enough, drove gramd for a few days then when some boy in his cooper s :-/ thought he would play the leon decided it wanted to fart, pop and bang all over the place from 3k - 4k then boosted grand again! And now on tickover it will idle ever so slightly above 1k.
Now the car seems to do it when it fancies if that makes any sense?
Anyone any idea on what this could be?
I have done a quick search but i honestly dont have the time with moving house to trawl through a load of posts
