boost issue with cupra r

hopefully someone might be able shed some light on my problem

driving last night and the car started boosting stange. It started to boost then would drop off then come back on then drop off all the way through the rev range.

you can see the boost gauge moving up and down and also hear the dv releasing the same time as the boost gauge goes down. Sometimes when i put my foot down the car would overboost aswel showing 1.7/1.8 bar on the boost gauge then carry on with the other problem.

either n75 or are you ready 4 a service?

dumpvalve settings allowing you to over boost maybe?

it not due a service for a while.
are there any ways to find out if i need a new n75?
would the one off a mk3 ibiza cupra be the same as i could try my mates?

vagcom logs would be the answer on that one mate. see whats going on.

I can get it on vag com. But what would you suggest logging? Not used it much before

log 003 and 020 togehter

then log 115 and 118 together

start log at 2.5k revs to the redline in 3rd, 4t would be better if you have a track or runway to do it on.
