Boost pipe coming from turbo - Tight fit?

Mine certainly never used to make the sound, only in the last few weeks has it started. Doesn't seem to have lost any power anyway. Must get it on a RR and see.

The same as mine mate no power has been lost still drives spot on just an annoying whistle.

My opinion on it is if it ain't lost power and it ain't losing oil or water then no need to worry

My mates polo had a similar sound but stayed on for longer. Was the start of his VNT problems and then led to the car going into limp mode, usually only at a certain speed it would do it.

Took mine out a proper run there, noise seems much reduced! Also seems to boost a bit harder, so there must of been some sort of leak with that old hose.

Veribal vain turbo (vnt) basically that's the type we have fitted in our cars and the vains get blocked but I would worry about that my self to behonest

Variable nozzle turbine
And vvt is variable valve timing which we dont have!

i think these wear due to knackered dogbone mounts letting the engine move so much
