interestingly i downloaded a little utility from APR called vtune, this actually allows me to connect to the ECU and change the idle speed upto + 50rpm but thats about it, so maybe its not APR either, can anyone else with a vagcom cable see if Vtune can connect to their ecu?

**EDIT **

just taken from APR's site

All APR remaps use encryption, which serve several purposes. First, it keeps prying eyes out of our software and prevents lesser companies from copying the chip and degrading the product. Secondly, the encryption prevents the dealer from flash programming the ECU. Also, all APR software is undetectable to a dealers VAG diagnostic tool.

so maybe it was APR after all, if it was encrypted, especially after Revo isnt as was mentioned earlier in the thread

Ok, a little progress ive spoken to previous owner, and car has been revo'd upto approx 265bhp so he said, just been in touch with the dealer who did the remap and he's scratching his head, got to phone him back in an hour or so if they can come up with any ideas

You should arrange for your Revo dealer to have a look at her, they can then determine what settings it's in and hopefully what's causing you problems.

I have arranged to take it in on monday coming @ £50 per hour [:@] almost dealer prices lol! they seemed confused when I said it has no fault codes showing now but are still going to run a diagnostic on it which they said will take an hour! yeah yeah

Are you guys now 100% certain it's got Revo on it? This is something the dealer can tell you.
Revo software doesn't do any fault diagnosis.
With your issues happening so suddenly it's likely to be a faulty component and the ECU's limiting output to counter the problem. Most likely boost leak, but could be from numerous places. Did you get to try the MAF though?
