brake caliper painting

ok i done alot of searching already but alot of conflicting information so im just going to ask
has anyone painted their calipers? if so how did ya do it?
remove the calipers? leave em on?
spray or brush? and whats the best type of paint to use?

as i have said i have already done a search and theres loads of people that have done this using diffrent methods/paints

does anyone have photos of their painted calipers so i can compair results?

Would like some info aswell on this. I'm looking into doing the same with my future car. I have been looking into using fake brembo brake caliper covers. Problem is that you will still have brakes disks that are not drilled so that will look really fake.

Search on the forum its here somewhere. Maybe even on my rr thread.

But way i did it, take alloy off, use a brush and i used red engine paint or heatproof paint, just take time on them lol
2 coats to get a.good coverage and good colour.

Make sure you clean the calipers first with a wire brush if surface rust, and then wipe with a cloth then paint

i used halfords caliper paint, regular 1/2 inch brush (of good quality) and a spark plug brush set to clean them down with total cost of around £20
