I'm after getting the BTCC kit fitted to my Leon FR 2006>. The dealers quoted me £1600 for the kit fitted however it seems a bit steep to me! Does anyone know anywhere the north west UK that I might be able to get it fitted at a somewhat more affordable cost? :)

David cook motors chaddeton, oldham £1400 inc vat. Bargain service costs aswell getting my first on 08 leon fr tdi for only 99 squid. sweetttttttttt.:p

I got my full btcc kit/fitted - for £1300 - however didnt get the kit with dual exhaust, not to bothered tbh still looks good.

Hobins, Preston.

Cheers

Try getting it fitted at Trident in St Annes, I know they do body work and painting, very good quality, literally is better than the factory job.

As for the kit, get one from ebay, the replica kit, no one will know the difference. Bet you'll save a fair bit.

I'm guessing you're preston based?

I bought it for £980 including the double exhaust and had it fitted for £350 in blackpool, bought it from seat chippenhammotors

I'm thinking of going for the dual exhaust first and then saving up for the rest of the kit. I were going to play the old "I bring it here for everything, spent thousands with you already etc etc" line" with them...? ;)

I got a brand new genuine twin exhaust:)

[QUOTE=why not go for the cupra r exhaust and diffuser it looks great on a black car

I note that Hobbin rhymes with Rob-in' !

Al and the other guys are right you know, go for Skirts, Spoiler & then get new Cupra R twin exhaust & rear diffuser

...much cooler than K1 kit which looks like a badly-glorified mini cooper at the back with it's awful centre exhaust!

Just my two penneth's worth... ;)

I'm looking at pre face lift leon cupras. will the cupra r rear diffuser and exhast set up still fit? Or would i need a complete cupra r rear bumper? I think its a must have if it does!

Off top of my head costs inc spraying and fitting
spoiler £140
Side skirts £160
front bumper £600 ish
rear bumper £400 ish
overall £1300 ish
you should be looking at around £1,500 max mate

The rear diffuser will fit any fr or cupra , they cost around 180 plus painting, the r back box is around 400 inc vat , it will fit on cupra existing exhaust system with ease , think you'd have to make a reducing pipe for the fr as pipe diameter is a lot smaller .

Just got myself a cupra, pick her up on Thursday. I think the cupra r diffuser and back box are a must for me. Better start saving some pennies.

If you get it from hobin haggle a deal on the back box and diffuser I got mine for £490 inc vat you will enjoy the car , I got mine from hobin bury , had a fr tdi before , the only down side is having to fill up more often with fuel but it's worth it for the fun and performance !!!
