Really? well the revo stage 2 graph says 210bhp and 206bhp on the performance gains, i no thats not exact but surley its somewhere near? can you enlighten me im obviousley missing something here lol.

Dyno lottery. If a tuner can prove they have made 220bhp out of a remap then thats what they'll publish. depends what rolling road you use, which is why a group rolling road is good as you can compare yur figures and you know it's all been done on the same rollers.

Is there any point getting revo st2 without uprating the turbo???

Well my understanding was standard 1.8 cupra was 156bhp, so with stage 2 revo it says 156 to 206, i no thats approx but even so it cant be far off, the car has already got s/s front pipe s/s sports free flow cat and s/s mid and rear, green panel filter, and replacement d v, and with a revo stage 2 a fmic and 4 bar fpr i was expecting 215/220bhp. so is it far to say i can expect 200bhp+? Im sorry i dont understand what you mean about is it worth doing stage 2 without uprating the turbo? if i was to hit 215/220bhp id be happy. im not wanting more and more, i hope 215/220 will be enough, what cars will a 215/220 ibiza compare to on a traffic light run? lol pardon the expression.

well it is designed fo the standard turbo?

you'd really be pushed to actually achieve over 200bhp on a set of rollers without an fmic..iv never seen it happen in person anyway. but thats not to say the car isnt running it, its just suffering the heat in an enclosed room with a fan providing its air cooling

to upgrade to stage 2 revo your supposed to have an uprated full exhaust system, induction and fmic really, aswell as the 4bar fpr...so by then 210 is probably likely

add all of that with an uprated turbo intake pipe and uprated recirc valve and you should be running near enough 215-220 but its a total lottery..I personally dont think its physically possible to get more than 220bhp out of the car without upgrading the turbo..

Thanks guys, thats given me so insight, if i hit 215/220 ill be more than happy, other than uprating the turbo, what could be next on the list? cams? nitrious? and what will a 215/220bhp ibiza compare to racing someone from the lights? im just curious? standard 210 impreza turbos? 172/182 clios? civic type r?

k03s turbo is the basic upgrade...then it would be another remap and thats basically it

cams have been seen to be pointless..and some cases lose power

theres been an increase in the number of nitrous users recently...its cheap and instant

but basically if k03s isnt good enough theres other turbos to consider...AM04, JBS04, ATP eliminators, IHI...all been done already but big bucks

at 200-220bhp off the line is abit silly, just cos of wheel spin, 30-100 though its great fun and really doesnt take very long, basic imprezas wont stand much of a chance and nor will clio sports or the CTR

so is it safe to say that the biggest part of first gear is obsolete (traction control can cope) then before 2nd gear change then it"ll grip, The car im going to buy with full s/s system and free flow cat, stg 2 revo, fmic 4 bar fpr and a green filter, approx 200/215/220bhp whatever bhp it"ll be, what sort of nitrious kit could i expect to run safely in your opinion? 25bhp? 50bhp?

first gear is humorous...lets put it that way

some people have 100bhp kits on 1.8Ts, the general opinion is that the standard internals are good for 350bhp

id start with 50 to begin with

Nah, Gearbox will be alrite. Clutch as you said won't!!!

If i dump mine in second it still spins.

Once your rolling, you'll keep up with quite a lot and 40mph acceleration is wicked!!!

I've beaten of the mark my mates CTR's and Integra Type R's and mine is only runnin 15psi.

I've beaten a Clio 182 Cup in a straight line but he was welded to my arse when going round corners!!!!!!

So with a spec like wot ur talking about you'll kill them!!!!!

Sorry about the comment about Stage 2, I just thought you needed an uprated turbo as i haven't seen any1 runnin st2 without a ko3s!!!!

Don't forget mate it all depends what your car is currently running..

U'd be better off getting it R/R how it is.. then re-map then going back and R/R then you'll see the exact gains... but that's costly...

U can get a revo trial which last 5 hours... but as the ECU has to adapt to the new software/driving style IMO... it's not quite as good as getting Revo stage 1....

Then off to the RR local one is well lane. the guy there is ok hdid my 5 turbo and my astra, hes not an animal with them lol. like some lol. Yellow Rocket... when you beat your mate ctr off the lights did he catch you eventually (this used to happen with my 5 turbo good off the line but not mid and top end grunt) will this be the case with a 210/220bhp ibiza?
