I’ve got Ferodo pads, and EBC Ultimax dics fitted. The driver’s side pad is in constant contact with the disc, and as you would guess the disc is very hot (as it would be)

So my question is….

1) Could the pad just be sat wrong with-in the calliper?
2) Is the calliper adjustable so I can move the pad away?

The car we are talking about is a 150 FR, with the 312 upgrade!

With a single pot floating caliper, the pad on the piston side will always sit closer to the disc than the back one - and will wear a bit faster. They float, no adjustment possible. Of course if your piston is sticking, that's a different matter, but then your car would pull to one side on braking.
