The VVT tensioner is the most expensive part, the gasket isnt very dear or you could remove the gasket and clean then reuse with abit of dirko sealer If your getting quoted silly money then give me a shout, leave the car with me for few hours/make a day of it coming to Leic

your looking around £375 for tensioner from dealership, i got mine from ebay for £80 and not had a problem since. It's not that hard to replace just got to make sure the timing is correct.

Is it dangerous driving the car when its like this gys?. some folk on here say they have been driving for 10s.of.000s of miles with the car like this.or is it posible it could through the cam belt off?
