Here is what BigLad's diagnosis was....

1st, recommend you change you dv as the fault keeps coming back, pressure drop - causing the boost reading lower than requested.

2nd, it states misfire detected cylinder 1, not sure if the fault was there before, but check you spark plug for that cylinder.

So it could be the DV but also indicates to me that it may be a coil pack? The plugs were changed a couple of weeks ago when the car was serviced (the £55 ones from looking at the garage bill).

Anyone any more ideas?

I went to do the leak test but the DV has one of those stupid clips on the vacuum hose that won't be able to be done up again and it looks as though you can't put a normal jubilee clip back on.

Anyone know how much the replacement valve is? I looked at the one from Forge but at nearly £100 it seems quite expensive.

If you weigh up the cost of the Forge DV in comparison to 'Potentially' how many BOSCH DV's you could go through, then its a worthy expense.
Also, if its still a bit too much, keep en eye out in the 'Accessories for sale' section as they can pop up in there sometimes.

The standard clips are an absolute nightmare to remove and jubilee can be fitted :) Just need to pop down B&Q to source the appropriate size.
