Post in General off topic, jokes etc are purged and deleted, hence your post number going down.

You need to read the rules mate. For Sale ads are only displayed once approved by a mod first. Replies to For Sale ads are not allowed except by the original poster and the mod/admin team. Hope that helps

These areas include Forum Gripes, Off Topic and I think that's about it. As said previously though, the posts get purged so your post count will go down as well as up.
