Hey guys,

Car is back into the garage for some more warranty work, and to be honest im despairing at the moment with it. To add to the other list of warranty work its looking like it needs new discs on the rear (theyre extremely worn for only 6500miles old), the whole system needs some new fluid (really bad vapour lock) and amongst other things the glove box needs replaced (dont ask) and the MAF sensor is probably needing changed. Does anyone else suffer from all of the same stuff?

Does anyone else despair at the amount of work these cars need under warranty?

Also, should I remove my Forge Splitter before putting in for work?

Questions questions, I know, but cheers in advance :D

Bought mine with 3k on the clock, done 1000miles in the 3 weeks that I have had it and everythings been fine so far touch wood. Only issue I have had is with some interior trim. The handle that you pull up to fold the seat forward so that people can sit in the back came off! And the handbrake case moves about. Mechanically the car is fine though so far.

Guess you have been unlucky, every manaufacturer turns out their share of lemons and looks like you have one on your hands!

Yup I agree,

Sad thing is is I really love the car, its spot on apart from the obvious listed above. I spoke to the lovely lady at the garage who asked me to compile a list of my problems, so to say the list got bigger is an understatement.

Hopefully though they will get it sorted out :D so I can get back to being happy driving it!

Has anyone had warranty work done before with the Forge DVs fitted? I know it doesnt affect performance, if anything its better for the turbo than the old plasticy Bosch one.

Cheers,

if the dealer is getting quite familiure with you and your car it might be a good idea to swap the dv back

they may well take note of it and if you get an engine management light on they will make you pay

Well just got the car back this afternoon and they have found nothing up with it. AGAIN.

Im starting to hate my car, I really am. The best bit about the car is the engine, and thats a dire shame thats the only thing I find right about it.

Aye, its not far off that. Mines much more scored and the surface is extremely uneven. Yours looks like either the wrong pads were fitted or only part of the pad is in contact with the disc.
