car cutting out.. please help!!

Please please help!!
i have found this site using google as i really really dont know what to do with my car!!
a few weeks ago it cut out as we were pulling into a car park, my dad came and jumped the car and we got it home (when this happened a EPC light came on)
We then had someone come to us and do a diagnostic report, and said he thought we needed a new RPM sensor. then booked it into my local garage and they said their part didnt fit and said to go to SEAT and have a diagnostics done so they could tell us exactly what was wrong..... we then took it home and noticed a massive hole in the breather pipe, fitted a new one and the engine lights went off for about a day, then the EPC light came back on in the middle of a main road and the car cut out. The battery light was then on we we got it to halfords and they said we needed a new battery, so we brought one and got it fitted

Then a day later the car was STILL cutting out, so we decided to take it to SEAT. They did the report and at first said we might need a new cambelt?? they then kept the car overnight to do 'some checks' and the next morning called to tell me they think the turbo is blown and they will charge £1300 for a new one!!!!!! i then rang round some garages and 2 out of the refused to give me a quote saying they did not think my problem was the turbo!!
i then called SEAT back (as they had still not given me a print off of my diagnostics) and they then told me it may not be the turbo but we need a new oil filter?? I have now managed to get the diagnostic report but im just so confused now i dont know where to go from here... im just getting ripped off by everybody so im hoping some can help!!

please please help me..... (also to let you know the oil light sometimes comes on) a gagrage i wen to said this could be because i new sump was fitted before i got the car and now the sensor is dodgey??
I just want me car fixed and want to know how much its gonna cost me

You need to place an advert in the vagcom section on this forum.
you can reset the fault codes and then run it and see what comes up. clean slate so to speak.
id guess its electrical

What dv are you running?

what does dv mean?? sorry i am a girl and dont know that much about cars! lol (which is probabaly why i keep getting ripped off)
yeah i have posted it in the vagcom bit aswell, just posting it wherever i can to try and get an answer from people that know what they are talking about

You have a dump valve or recirculating valve. Just wondered if it was stock or not.

according to the codes you have a faulty or loose engine speed sensor, but ive not heard of that and couldnt tell you where it is. It would cause the engine to shut down so it sounds right.
weird that the seat garage havnt sorted it?

Might be an idea to ring some of the tuners on this forum with the codes just to confirm and they should give you a price.

Have a search on here for your fault codes and it should give a better idea

no SEAT have been a complete waste of time and have had £85 out of me for nothing.
