fingers crossed the car will be out of the garage tonight had a few problems with the gearbox, and it not wanting to go in to reverse but all sorted now i think, just spoke to david on the phone and the words that came out of his mouth was "my car looks f***kin sexual in the daylight." As Bianca (the cars new name) is coming out of the garage his sisters yaris will be going in due to somebody crashing in to him the other day near his house, this dude has no luck with cars. Must say though it wasn't his fault and the other driver sped away, anyway back to bianca she looks awesome new seats, new paint job, near enough a brand spanking new car the amount of money hes spent at seat with new parts ------thinks about it------- probably would of been cheaper to buy a new car. anyway ill let david finish the thread off before he shouts at me for spoiling his fun.

found reverse now
top gears are stiff as hell though so left car with them to sort out, not too happy with the gears

getting into gears 2 and 4 are easy (feel normal)
going into 1,3 and 5 are really stiff though and dont feel like they engage properly

drove the car yesterday, feels good, just need to sort out this gear problem then il have it back (today i hope)

had the same problem with my last car was a seat though. it turned how that a pipe had got stuck under one of the gear selectors either that or one of the selectors got bent when the engine got put back in. this was on a fiat coupe mind. worth a check
