I'm looking at replacing the standard wipers on mine with aero wipers. Take it looking at that link, i would need the upgrade kit for the front and just the rear one for the back window?

Generally just the arms and blades are replaced on the front and the whole thing on the rear. Have a look on ebay for the rear conversion, bought mine for approx £20 +p+p.

Only think i can find on ebay is this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-Rear-Wiper-Conversion_W0QQitemZ270201177433QQihZ017QQcategoryZ45645QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Doesn't say if its an aero wiper tho, but does give part numbers. Don't think its a fabia wiper, but gonna see if i can check those p/n's see what it comes up with.

Yes that was the one i bought, haven't arrived yet but should be here soon. Quite easy to fit provided you can get the one part of the rotating spindle in the middle, may need some wd40!! :)

You can get some tinted side repeater lenses as well for about £20 from another ebay seller from Germany i think. Worth a look and nice touch of you have your car tinted.

I ordered a set of these wipers the other day. Today is the first time I've really had to use them - has anyone else found they make an irritating rubbing noise? Could be that they just need to bed in but hope they improve soon - quite annoying!

Mine are fine, fitted them on tuesday, no rubbing or any noises.

Completely different to the OEM ones that really annoyed me[:@]

Try refitting them and check to see they are on square etc..

Should be ok.

Get the retro fit vw ones, they are £20 from vw dealer no need for postage or waiting for them to arrive and the clip on and work a treat. The dealer will prbably tell you that they wont fit your car but just ignore them. You want the ones to fit the mk3 - mk4 golf.

Well next time I'll get the genuine VW ones but for now I'm hoping the ones I've already bought will work properly!

Took them off and had a look, can't see any problem. Maybe just a duff blade, but can't see a reason for it.

Feel free to give them a try, it seems others have been ok but my passenger side blade is a duffer - constantly juddering accross the screen. Wish I'd spent the extra tenner and gone for the genuine VAG ones.
