When I start my car I get the CHECK COOLANT alarm and red warning come up. The coolant levels are fine and there is no leak. Does this sound like a faulty sensor?

If I turn the ignition off the warning mostly does not come back on till the next drive.

Check the wiring to the sensor of the expansion tank.

If it's all good replace the expansion tank the come with a sensor built in.

I have noticed a crack in this location... anyone know what part this is or will the entire radiator need replacing?

It it a crack on the part or is the leak coming from the quickfit connector above it ?

You said your coolant levels were fine. Is that still the case ?

Leak is coming from the plastic pipe. The hose is on correctly. There is a visible leak from the plastic pipe. Coolant needs topping up daily. Looks like a new radiator?!

If the plastic 90 degree bend (red) is leaking/cracked then this is part of the radiator so yes it's a new radiator.
If the plastic connector (green) is leaking then it's a new o-ring seal.
