I got mine from the same seller on ebay. Quick shipping for HK too!

From the pics of all the guides these look virtually identical to the mydepots one. Even the sticker on the bulb case is the same. I suspect they're all made from the same factory...

One thing I did notice was the beam pattern on my 2 bulbs is different. My driver side one, from what I can make out, spits out more light to the right side, where as the passenger one, has more concentrated in a larger lump in the middle. Which would be more ideal.

How does everyone else find them?

I know they look fairly easy to fit, but did i read right, there is a fitting guide. Had a quick look, but there are quite a few threads.

Theres no need for a guide! Those ones are strange conection to battery and stuff!
These ones conect to the original bulb plug and thats pretty much it, the rest of it is finding a place to hide wires and ballast boxes!

Grrrrr talk about disappointed.

1st one fitted ok, excellent light.

2nd one fitted, turned it on, it flickered then went out. Every time you turn it on, again it tries to light but nothing.....

Looks like ive some emailing to do,

Any ideas ?

One of mine went out the second time it went on but I switched it off then back on again and it worked. Swap the ballasts and bulbs over to rule out which is not working. I'd hope it was a bulb as they will be easier to replace. They are brittle and 2 or 3 times i'd look when pushing it in the lense to see that from the outside the headlight looking in i'd missed the silver plastic canopy cover thing inside and was rubbing on it. Could have easily damaged one that way.

Defo try swapping the ballast, sometimes this fixes these wee issues!
Shame mate, they are very fragile!

Will do, we were uber careful not to touch or knock them. I have emailed the seller to see if he can suggest anything,

Can you buy replacement bulbs easily enough in this country ?

Is it defo the bulb then?, did you try the working bulb on the non-working ballast?

Just check the bulbs have all the same wires needed for your kit. They should as most i've seen are pretty universal. I'd hold out for the seller to reply first as he may ship over a replacement.

all ends well.

Just changed over the bulbs and they worked fine, So it must be the ballasts.

Had a look at all the connectors, and one of them was loose ( the wire into the connector), almost came out when i touched it.

Secured it, and heyyyy all works fine..

i just fitted my kit at the weekend. wow what a difference. best mod i have ever done.

got my kit from hids4u, got the pro kit. (55w instead of the normal 35w)

just need to take it to the mot station to make sure they are alright
( not had anybody flash at me yet)
